Friendship is an area Daniel Ellenberg believes we often overlook in our lives.
We prioritize career, finances, family, and our physical health, but where’s the value we place on the strength of our connections with others?
In a time of widespread loneliness and isolation, it’s crucial we recognize that our “friendship net worth” matters deeply.
True friendship isn’t just something that happens by chance; it’s something we need to cultivate intentionally. Many of us struggle with relationships—whether it’s connecting or sustaining meaningful connections over time. This can be a lonely journey, with the pain of friendships that faded or hit roadblocks. If we can shift our focus to truly valuing our friendships, investing in them like we do other important parts of our lives, we can create more fulfilling, supportive connections.
So this week, Dr. Daniel Ellenberg dives into what it means to form deep, genuine friendships and he offers a guided meditation that helps us show up with openness, authenticity, and courage.
I hope you find both helpful.
