Being Well Podcast: Psychological Safety with Amy Edmondson
August 24, 2020

Today, we’re joined by one of the world’s leading scholars on what helps organizations learn and thrive: Dr. Amy Edmondson.

From keeping our personal relationships happy and healthy to dealing with group projects at school to all kinds of interactions in the workplace, we’re all “managers” to varying degrees. And we all participate in teams, large and small, most days. Many of us have been fortunate enough to be on a really great team…and most all of us have probably been on a bad one. So, what makes for a great team – whether personal or professional – and is it as simple as just being good at your job, or is there more to it than that? To help us answer that question we’re joined by one of the world’s leading scholars on what helps organizations learn and thrive: Dr. Amy Edmondson.

Dr. Amy Edmondson is the Novartis Professor of Leadership and Management at Harvard Business School, where she studies teaming, psychological safety, and organizational learning. She’s the author of six books, including her most recent book, The Fearless Organization: Creating Psychological Safety in the Workplace for Learning, Innovation and Growth
