Life these days can feel overwhelming—chaotic, divisive, and heavy with suffering, both personal and global. It’s easy to get lost in outrage, anxiety, or despair. But there’s another way.
In this talk, Daniel Ellenberg explores how to navigate these turbulent times with greater clarity, compassion, and steadiness. Instead of getting stuck in frustration or helplessness, he shares how you can reconnect with your core values, strengthen your resilience, and take meaningful action—without burning out or hardening your heart.
Explore practical ways to shift from callousness or overwhelm to a place of wise, engaged compassion, and balancing action with equanimity, and how to stand firmly in your values without getting consumed by negativity.
If you’ve been feeling disheartened by the state of the world, struggling with how to respond to conflict, or simply looking for a way to stay grounded in your own integrity, let’s explore together how to live with purpose, resilience, and a heart that remains open—even in difficult times.
Daniel also offered a guided meditation on The Healing Power of Befriending Yourself — I hope you find it helpful!
