Meditation + Talk: How to Feel Already OK
September 7, 2024

It’s easy to get caught up in chasing endless goals, fixating on what’s wrong, and overlooking the abundance of what’s good. But so much of what we seek is already here. By noticing what we already have, we can feel a sense of peace, contentment, and love that is already present in our experience.

This week I offered a talk on these topics, titled How to Feel Already Okay (something I think we all could use these days).

I also offered a meditation called Soft in the Present, Open, and Peaceful — I hope you find it helpful.

These teachings are offered freely, at no charge.

And if you like, you may wish to participate in the age-old tradition of generosity through making an offering yourself – called “dāna” – to support Rick and the Wednesday Meditations. Generosity itself is a beautiful practice that opens and gladdens the heart, relaxes the contraction of “self,” and ripples out into the world to touch many people – and perhaps, eventually, even oneself.
