Social Media Content Creator/Manager
(Part-Time Independent Contractor)
Being Well, Inc. is looking for a creative, organized, and enthusiastic individual to manage Dr. Hanson’s social media presence and create engaging content that resonates with his audience and helps expand his online presence. This contractor position is remote and part-time.
Position Overview
As a contractor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging social media strategies across multiple platforms to increase Dr. Hanson’s reach and engagement. This role requires creativity, excellent communication skills, familiarity and enthusiasm for Dr. Hanson’s work, and a deep understanding of social media trends and best practices.
Position Details:
- Part-time independent contractor, ~ 10-15 hours a week
- Flexible hours
- Remote work
- 2-3 month trial period with potential for longer contract
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Dr. Hanson’s brand, message, and goals
- Create and curate high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Manage and grow Dr. Hanson’s social media presence, increasing followers and engagement rates
- Schedule and publish posts using social media management tools
- Monitor social media channels and engage with followers, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner
- Analyze social media metrics and provide monthly performance reports
- Collaborate with the team to promote Dr. Hanson’s books, courses, and events
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends and implement innovative strategies
- Manage and create Facebook ads
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation, preferably in the personal development, mindfulness, or psychology field
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and analytics
- Fluency in English with excellent writing and communication skills
- Proficiency in social media management tools and scheduling platforms
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Basic video editing skills
- Strong understanding of Dr. Hanson’s key teachings
- Knowledge of or interest in psychology, mindfulness, and personal growth
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- In or close to North American timezones
Compensation
- $35-$42 USD/hour, based on experience
