Calm and Happy
Four Habits for a Peaceful Heart—
Even When the World Feels Chaotic
A Live Online Workshop with Dr. Rick Hanson
May 31, 2025 | 9am-1pm PT
When Life Feels Too Loud, Too Fast, and Too Much…
These days, it’s easy to feel frazzled.
Your mind might race with worries.
You keep going over that conversation… or bracing for the next thing to go wrong.
You might feel tired — not just physically, but deep down in your heart.
If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. Truly.
These feelings are valid and shared by so many. I’ve been receiving so many messages from people asking how they can feel less overwhelmed, less helpless, and more steady in the face of everything coming at them these days… that I decided to offer a workshop on it.
So if you’ve been feeling frazzled, anxious, reactive, or just worn down, I hope you’ll join me on May 31st for a live, online event where we’ll explore four practical habits that help you stay centered, reduce stress, and increase genuine happiness — even when the world around you feels out of control.

The 4 Habits of a Calm and Happy Mind:
This isn’t about just getting better at coping. It’s about changing the foundation—so that life’s challenges land on a more grounded, calm mind.
HABIT 1
Accepting
See things clearly. Loosen the grip of fear, frustration, or resistance—and find peace through perspective and radical acceptance.
HABIT 2
Centering
Come home to your body. Discover powerful tools to soothe your nervous system, reclaim your strength, and feel “all right, right now.”
HABIT 3
Loving
Open your heart. Learn how self-compassion and feeling genuinely supported can help soften stress and regulate your emotions.
HABIT 4
Acting
Take wise action. Move from helplessness or reactivity to making good plans, taking small steps, and solving problems with confidence.
In this 4-Hour Workshop You Will Learn to:
Understand the Power of Calm & Happiness
Discover what true equanimity really is—not cold detachment, but a steady inner balance that helps you stay openhearted, present, and even joyful in the middle of life’s ups and downs.
Develop the 4 Habits of a Calm & Happy Mind
Learn simple, repeatable practices—Accepting, Centering, Loving, and Acting—that gradually rewire your brain toward more calm, clarity, and authentic happiness.
Use Tools That Actually Work in Real Life
Apply the 4 habits to navigate anxiety and anger. No matter what you’re dealing with, you’ll have practical ways to come back to center—and even feel good while doing it.
Grow Lasting Inner Strengths
Build up qualities like resilience, self-compassion, inner peace, and contentment—so you’re not just getting through the day, but actually feeling better inside over time.
