“Who Cares?” is a thought-provoking gathering where young people meet outstanding scientists and change-makers to explore the role of empathy and compassion in society. Young people are introduced to the importance of taking care of themselves as the first step to taking care of others. They explore practical tools to cultivate connectedness and compassion as a force for positive change in their lives.
In 2014, the event took place in San Francisco. It was organized as part of the Empathy and Compassion in Society Conference, by Mind with Heart and the Tenzin Gyatso Institute together with the Charter for Compassion and Compassionate Leaders.
